Welcome to
Dump The Dems

So, A White House spokes-drone said that the loss of $535 million is “very unfortunate.”
Uhmmm yeahhh, I just lost $535 billion. How very unfortunate for someone out there, but I guess that’s just more stimulus chump change.

Developing according to examiner.com, insiders are claiming that the President will dump his Veep who can go home and nap to his heart’s content.

Apparently, the sentiment here is, “Dear Joe, It’s not me, it’s you!” Speculation has been increasing that Obama will choose Andrew Cuomo, whose recent signing of a same sex marriage bill may be the kind of feather in Obama’s cap that could gain confidence from the gay community.
Like some kind of internal fairness doctrine, according to the Daily Caller website, Facebook has begun implementing a euphemistically termed “upgrade” which requires a “key” to keep administrators of Facebook groups in touch with their subscribers, essentially dismantling the groups. Groups not provided a “key” will be “archived” so that they can be read, but the admin of key-less groups will have to contact members one by one and ask them to re-join.
Facebook recently hosted a town hall event for Obama in April, 2011

A lot of what is legal or illegal depends on the scope of the law in a given sovereign state. In light of recent events in the death of Osama Bin Laden, the common sentiment here in the US, a sentiment with which I fully agree, is that we have a right and an obligation to pursue Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan and deliver justice–justice itself being a legal construct. The fact that we carried out this operation in another sovereign state without their consent, knowledge or permission would make the act illegal in the eyes of 190 million Pakistanis.
Of course, Pakistan, our sworn enemy paper ally, frienemy? Has once again found themselves sandwiched betwixt much of their own people, a good portion of their own military and the US, their so-called ally that continues to foolishly feed them cash. Not wanting to incite a revolution in the streets, and the subsequent rapid overthrow of current leadership, Paper Pakistan has disavowed all knowledge of and cooperation with our mission. Pakistan could, if they were so foolish, take their stance on to the UN and charge the United States with an illegal act. The rest of the UN thuggery would gladly pile on. Since the left is calling on the US to get out of Afghanistan because of Osama’s demise, I say go ahead as long as we also get out of the UN and get the UN out of US.
Now, looking at the way we obtained intelligence in order to track the fugitive down, many would say that intelligence was obtained illegally because their disagreement with waterboarding but the fact is actually that the method was completely legal and stood up to the legal tests and framework at the time. Further, although lawmakers (like our beloved Nancy Pelosi) tried to deny or obscure their own knowledge of the interrogation methods, it was carried out with their consent.
At the end of the day, we’re a sovereign state and it’s time to put on our sovereign state pants and deliver a strong message to the rest of the Islamic hard-liners that the terrorist jig is up and aligning with militant, civilian attacking ideology and methodology is a fast track to destruction. We should take advantage of our momentum and rout the entire Al Qaeda organization as fast as possible.

The protracted inaccessibility to Obama’s long form birth certificate seems to have been the ultimate disctraction, and perhaps the Democrats wanted it that way. An apparently effective distraction over the last 2 1/2 years- the mere obfuscation of Obama’s birth certificate distracted on two levels, both levels to the benefit and advantage of the Democratic Party. Firstly, the supposedly lacking long form birth certificate provided opportunity for the Democrats to create a pseudo-class, “birthers”, to counter the far more egregious “truther” lunatic fringe so closely associated with the left that it threatened to become a millstone around the neck of the Democrats if left unchallenged. The birther pseudo-class provided much needed ballast against the growing number of adherents to the notion that the events of 9/11 were planned and executed by the Bush administration. The “truther” cause was a long-standing quasi-mainstream sentiment that made its way even into government circles as was evidenced by the untimely departure of Van Jones.
What better way to counter this problem than to create an artificial controversy? Was the birther fracas nothing more than another head-fake by a very opaque Obama administration? With the liberal media on their side, it was likely to be the recipient of far more of the spotlight. With ample enough justification for concern the whole artificial controversy came unraveled when Trump called their bluff. Now the truthers- far more lunatic and far more outrageous, stand alone.
April 27, 2011: Now that the White House has released a long form birth certificate for Barack Obama, the so-called fringe element, “birthers” will fade into the background. Perhaps the long delay in providing the longform certificate was to propagate and keep these folks in the foreground by allowing for just enough honest doubt to keep the thing going. Why else would anyone want to keep that issue going for so long?
Well, now that all this time and effort and energy have been wasted over one of America’s most stupid issues in the last three years, there is nothing left to provide distraction from the most idiotic conspiracy group still running around, and in recent times running, the country. That group is the “truthers” including some not so fringe names like: Edward Asner, Richard Falk, Ralph Nader, Cynthia McKinney, Catherine Austin Fitts, Richard Heinberg, and of course presidential advisor, Van Jones. Former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura appeared on The View in March 2010 and espoused truther views. These views overtly center around the left’s notion that the Bush administration planned and sought for any means possible to invade Iraq- a theory laden with the ideological chaff of the left with or without the 911 component.
More recently, another The View airing hosted Alex Jones, truther and conspiracy theorist in chief, who diverted a conversation originally defending friend Charlie Sheen to an attack on the Bush administration, blaming them for 9/11. interestingly, Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg did not walk out on the outrageous commentary by Jones. Evidently, it was more acceptable than the comment that Muslims attacked us on 9/11. Jones had launched into a tirade saying that Charlie Sheen did not kill one million people in Iraq and that he wasn’t involved with the takedown of building seven in New York.
In another off the cuff remark, Obama complained about the technology in the Oval Office and the federal government in general. Obama said that the technology in the government is thirty years behind. Isn’t the federal government coincidentally also about thirty years behind in paying down its debt?
If I was thirty years behind on my Verizon bill, I can’t imagine I’d be as well off as the feds in communication provisioning.
“You know the Oval Office always thought I was going to have like real cool phones and stuff,” Obama said last night, “You know, we can’t get our phones to work! I’m like ‘come on guys, I’m the president of the United States.’ Where’s the fancy buttons and stuff, and the big screen comes up? It doesn’t happen.”
Mr. Obama’s comments were caught on an open microphone at a fundraiser last night in Chicago, first notices and reported on by CBS Radio White House correspondent Mark Knoller.
The president said that that when it comes to technology the federal government is thirty years behind.
Apparently Obama’s speech was enough to knock out the VP once again. Apparently the speech was just impressive enough to put Biden at ease?

When I heard President Obama say that someone struggling financially, now even more, because of gas prices, should consider a trade in, it was like hearing him say, “Let them eat cake.” I mean, if you’re struggling and you have an older car, you probably pay a lower insurance premium and a new car is also just not in the budget. Get a new car, and you have:
1. higher payments
2. higher insurance premiums because the car is new
3. inadequate room if you have a large family, so now you need what, 2 new cars?
Obama seemed out of touch with this one. Most families are striving to get by from month to month and why does he think the automobile industry needed to borrow our grandchildren’s money? Oh, that’s right- nobody is buying new cars.
Where’s the cake now, Mr. President? In the White House dining room? It sure isn’t on my table!
“They should consider a trade-in.” Believe me, I am definitely planning on one, but the election is still 19 months away!
Dear President Obama: Last summer I watched in sadness as Neda died for her country, Iran. She died at the hands of those who represented her government. You did nothing. I didn’t expect you to. It’s wasn’t your style.
Early this year, protests started up in Egypt. Things were tense, and I think maybe a few people died at the hands of those who represented the government- but not too many, and anyway you did nothing. I didn’t expect you to. It wasn’t your style.
In late February or early March I saw a video from Bahrain. Unarmed civilians were walking down a street. It looked a lot like Santa Ana or even Newport Beach with a middle-eastern flair. The sickening scene unfolded where those who represented the government opened fire on peacefully marching, unarmed civilians, killing several. I watched in disbelief as the troops then opened fire on those who tried to assist the wounded and dying. Then they opened fire again as ambulances took away the victims. You did nothing. I didn’t expect you to. It wasn’t your style.
Last week you excercised your executive power to make war on Libya where those who represented the government have been killing rebel fighters and also innocent civilians.
Now Syria is killing its own en masse. Sharpshooters who represent the government positioned on rooftops mow down unarmed civilians with impunity.
Mr. Obama, just what is your style now? Are you a man of peace, a man of strength, or just a man of poorly executed Machavellian pragmatism? I have to wonder at a president who does not believe that America is exceptional. I still believe my country is better than the rest. You made it clear that you don’t. Our country, because of its exceptionalism is looked to by the rest of the world to at least try to make things right where we can. You seem to have a way of destroying that hope in our friends and potential friends, and encouraging our enemies all at once.
We disagree, not just over style, but substance.
